I’m a Portuguese artist currently based in Lisbon, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from London Metropolitan University. As a multidisciplinary artist, I specialize in painting and installation work.

 

My creations often comprise assemblages that integrate sound, video, and sculpture within enclosed spaces; or paintings which weave together organic forms and bright colours into semi-abstract compositions - ‘inner landscapes’. In this world between abstraction and figuration, the real and imagined coalesce, forming a realm that houses that which lives within all of us, collective and individually. A capture of a moving still, the process of fleshing out and experiencing the ‘in between’ - the parts of experience which fall past the reach of language.

 

I strive to weave together realities using a cohesive visual language, amalgamating various aspects of experience, inner life, and the ineffable in-between.
